Caity Schimmel, WHNP, is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for personalized, root-cause medicine and helping patients achieve sustainable, long-term wellness.

Caity began her nursing career after graduating from nursing school in 2019. She completed her nurse residency at Duke University Hospital and worked in the Emergency and Trauma Departments. Her experience caring for patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment provided a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine while inspiring her interest in more proactive and individualized approaches to health.

She went on to pursue her Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) education and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Georgetown University, specializing in women’s health. Her clinical interests have since expanded to include bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), root-cause medicine, cellular health, peptide therapy, and sustainable wellness practices.

Caity’s approach centers on understanding the whole person rather than simply addressing isolated symptoms. She is passionate about combining comprehensive assessment, targeted therapies, and practical lifestyle strategies to support hormonal balance, metabolic and cellular health, healthy aging, and overall well-being.
